Doom Eternal Unleashes Hell at QuakeCon, First Footage and New Details Revealed

At this year's E3, Bethesda announced Doom Eternal, an all-new entry in the shooter franchise that started it all.

As promised, id Software and Bethesda has revealed at QuakeCon 2018 the first gameplay footage for DOOM Eternal.

As for notable new additions in DOOM Eternal, movement seems to be amplified even more than before with new weapons such as the grappling hook shotgun allowing you to latch onto enemies to zoom towards them. At the very least, though, we feel that this has to be some kind of expansion or some piece of previously unseen content related to Doom. We also got a look a Phobos, which isn't quite as disgusting, as it hasn't been completely overtaken by demons yet. They can go one-on-one, or team up to form a "slayer hunting party". Doom Eternal is directed by Marty Stratton, who also helmed 2016's Doom, and will feature upgrades for the protagonists including new guns and a tool that functions like Link's hookshot from The Legend of Zelda. Don't worry though - if you have enough trouble with Doom's AI demons, you can turn off invasions. As the DOOM Slayer, return to take your vengeance against the forces of Hell. The game is expected to arrive for XBO, PS4, and PC.
