McDonald's mobile customers get chance to win food for life

The winner will be awarded a rare Mc Gold Card

In a new announcement released on Twitter, the Golden Arches, home of the Quarter Pounder and fan-favorite golden French fries, announced that one fortunate soul will have the chance to win the McGold Card, allowing them to score free McMuffins, Big Macs, and McCafes for life.

The McGold Card doesn't necessarily mean unlimited food, however. According to the fine print, the victor can collect two free meals per week for 50 years.

So how did the McGold Card start? McDonald's is also going to award a custom-made mobile McGold Card phone case with the winner's name engraved in gold.

Back in 1965, a McDonald's Owner did the unthinkable!

The fast-food chain will soon be giving its loyal customers the chance to win the fabled McDonald's McGold Card, which awards the lucky victor free McDonald's for life.

To enter, customers can either order a meal using the McDonald's app between August 10 and August 24, or enter via email, as the official rules stipulate that no purchase is actually neccessary. "McDelivery, mobile ordering, and now the chance to win free craveable, delicious McDonald's for life", Professor of McDonald's History and Fry Law Rhonda McDougal claims. Even Rob Lowe and Bill Gates don't have one of those, so take that, dudes who can already afford all the McDonald's they want but don't have to pay for it anyway! From that monumental moment, a small select number of McGold Cards have been given out to notable figures ranging from the governor of MI to the king of Sweden. Each time they use Mobile Order & Pay to order, they will gain another entry. It's also possible to enter via email without buying anything. McDonald's says the victor will be drawn at random and be notified within two days.
