Cristiano Ronaldo: "Juventus is different, it's like a family"

Cristiano Ronaldo gestures as he arrives at the Juventus’ medical centre in Turin

Ronaldo, who moved on a €100 million transfer last month, is set to appear in Sunday's traditional preseason match against Juve's B team at Villar Perosa, a small town south-west of Turin.

Members of the industrial dynasty - founders of Fiat vehicle manufacturers and often called the "Italian Kennedys" - have lived at "The Castle" in Villar Perosa since the 19th century, while deceased former club chairman Gianni Agnelli was town mayor between 1945 and 1980.

It has become a tradition down the years for fans to storm onto the pitch, marking an end to the match.

That could mean Ronaldo gets even more up close and personal with Juve fans.

The fan was swiftly dealt with by stewards and was escorted off the pitch.

Juventus star, Cristiano Ronaldo has finally revealed why he chose to play for the Serie A champions.

New signing Emre Can also starts in midfield, with Leonardo Bonucci returning at centre-back after his brief spell at Milan.

The 33-year-old adds to Juventus' embarrassment of riches in the final third, as he can call on the likes of Paulo Dybala, Mario Mandzukic and Douglas Costa for support.

His domestic form - despite scoring 26 goals in La Liga - was below the nearly superhuman levels that had characterised his time in Spain as Madrid finished third behind local rivals Atletico and a whole 17 points behind champions Barcelona.

Since making the move to Italy, Ronaldo claims he dreamed of playing for Juve since he was a young boy.

Ronaldo, who joined the Italian champions last month in a deal worth a reported £99.2 million, has impressed everyone at the club in training and this afternoon, he made the flawless start to life in Turin. In the Champions League against Juve, a quarter-final, you score a goal and see everyone in the stadium applaud you.

You can't help but be excited at Ronaldo's arrival in the Italian capital.

Although he seemed ready to quit the club at one point, Allegri retained his position at the helm of Italy's most successful club in recent years and declined the opportunity to manage a side considered the biggest and best in the world.
