Vikram's Son In a Road Mishap

Tamil actor Vikram's son Dhruv was involved in an accident on the morning of 12 August. There were two other people in the auto with Dhruv.

According to reports, the aspiring actor's auto hit three stationary autorickshaws and one person was injured due to the impact. All injured were rushed to the Royapettah hospital for treatment.

Dhruv was apparently travelling with two other friends in the auto when the accident happened, said reports. As per the report, post the accident, the vehicle didn't stop but sped away. According to the same report, he has been booked under section 279 (rash driving or riding on a public way) and 337 (causing hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others) of the IPC.

In a video that has emerged on social media, one of Dhruv's friends who was in the auto can be seen arguing with the police and saying that he won't get into the police vehicle.

Dhruv Vikram a film student is making his acting debut in director Bala" s "Varma" which is the remake of the Telugu blockbuster hit "Arjun Reddy'. Indian express reports that he was released on station bail after no one filed any complaint against him.

When asked how the accident occurred, Police said further investigations were on. "We would like to clarify that the accident happened only due to lack of attention behind the wheels and no other reason", statement from Vikram's manager Suryanarayanan read.
