Cons Su Ayhan, 26, was asked where the landmark was located for 3,000 Turkish Lire. China, India, South Korea and Japan were the provided options, but the participant had to opt for two lifelines to answer the question.

A contestant on Turkey's version of "Who Wants to be a Millionaire?" was caught in an embarrassing situation when she nearly failed to answer: "Where is the Great Wall of China?"

The clip from Kim Milyoner Olmak İster was widely circulated across all social media platforms, shows contestant Su Ayhan completely at a loss by the question. She said she knows the answer, but just want to clarify it from the audience.

Given that dismal result, Ms Ayhan then made a decision to use another lifeline, by calling a friend.

"I could use my lifelines whenever I wanted", Ayhan said in response to all of her haters. "Otherwise, this huge ignorance problem can not be solved, even with our new Education Minister Ziya Selçuk", a columnist from the Hurriyet Daily News said. The woman stood eliminated after failing to correctly answer a following question on the composer of a popular Turkish song.

The woman now joins the ranks of other Who Wants To Be A Millionaire fail Hall of Famers, including famously cocky United States medical student Brenton Andreasik, who flunked his very first question back in 2015 after telling the host how brainy he was.

During the fourth round of the game show, she was asked the question "Where is the Great Wall of China?" To help her gauge the right choice, she chose to first take the lifeline of "audience poll".
