The 100′s Marie Avgeropoulos Arrested for Felony Domestic Violence

Marie Avgeropoulos was booked for felony domestic violence. More

Marie Avgeropoulos, who stars in CW's popular post-apocalyptic drama "The 100", was arrested last week for domestic violence after allegedly getting into an argument with her boyfriend. According to TMZ's sources, when officers arrived, the man had marks on his body, so the actress was taken to jail.

According to police, the incident began when they responded to a call placed early on Sunday, August 5. She was released on a $50,000 bond. We're told her boyfriend called police thinking they'd diffuse the situation rather than arrest her - as they're both Canadian and unfamiliar with what'll get a person hauled off to jail in the U.S. He apparently begged cops not to take her away and doesn't intend to press charges.

The same source revealed to TMZ that Avgeropoulos had recently started taking new medication and was drinking wine during dinner that evening.

Yahoo Entertainment reached out to Avgeropoulos's publicist, but did not immediately receive a response.

The source explained that the couple are both Canadian and not familiar with United States laws about domestic violence.
