Hansen hails Bledisloe's sibling rivalry as All Blacks hit Sydney

Israel Folau needs to lift his game to another level says former Wallabies fullback Matt Burke

Hansen continued his complimentary assessment of the Wallabies, rating them "a really good side" after their three-Test home series loss to Six Nations champions Ireland. "I'm pretty confident that whoever we put in that position they'll be pretty keen to get out there and express themselves and get the job done for the team".

Beale said the team were focused on starting well, something they did not manage in the corresponding Test previous year.

The return of Stephen Moore from injury in 2015 meant that Hooper resumed his service as vice-captain of the Wallabies through the Rugby World Cup and into 2016.

"The work Mick has been doing with them, their running lines are really good, their passes have got a lot better, so it's going to make them even more unsafe", Hansen said.

Australia did beat New Zealand in the third and final Test a year ago and were unlucky not to win the second.

"Obviously Israel has played there during Super Rugby as well and I " m sure he will be able to get the job done as well".

"It's a long deal so I have to thank Cheik (Wallabies coach Michael Cheika) and Raelene (Rugby Australia Chief Executive) as well as the Waratahs for having the belief in me in that I can continue to contribute".

"Once that was sorted out it was a titanic struggle for the other two games so I think it's going to be a great contest and three relay good games".

The All Blacks have held the Bledisloe since 2003, but Hansen last week declared Australia were worthy of favouritism this year.

By the time the third Test at Suncorp Stadium rolled around they were on the ball, trailing by one point at the break, leading at 60 minutes and winning 23-18.

With Rona omitted, utility back Reece Hodge is likely to start in the outside centre position vacated by injured duo Samu Kerevi and Tevita Kuridrani.

"I can't go telling you that, Cheik (Wallabies coach Michael Cheika) will fix it up, ' Hansen quipped".

"It's just around decision-making I think".

Hodge, meanwhile, said the current crop of Wallabies were desperate to win back the support of disenchanted Australian fans.

"I've been trying for a while now so really looking forward to another crack".

"(You need) awareness that it's coming and being aware of where he is on the field but more so we've got a couple of plans around that this week, so if that comes it'll be part of the game and we'll look to get up and shut those down".

"Every year we have a bit of game for the guys that don't make it through too far in the finals and I think that's all the difference was".
