The Lord of Terror Coming to Nintendo Switch This Fall - Diablo 3

Diablo 3 Looks Like It’s Coming to the Switch with Exclusive Bonuses Ewan Roxburgh

Kotaku reports that Diablo III for the Nintendo Switch was meant to be announced tomorrow, but Forbes pressed the publish button a little too early. As you might expect you'll be getting all of the Diablo III content released to date, which includes the incredible Reaper of Souls expansion, additional classes and the latest Rise of the Necromancer pack.

In it, we saw hints that Diablo III will be released for the Nintendo Switch, but actual confirmation of the plan wasn't provided.

Eternal Collection will retail for $59.99, which may seem kind of steep for a game that is over six years old at this point, but the Eternal Collection will also have some exclusive content for players to sink their teeth into. Well, sort of. Forbes accidentally let a pre-written announcement post to go live early - they quickly took the story down, but, of course, eagle-eyed fans managed to grab screenshots. The Switch version launches later this year and will reportedly cost $60.

The Switch version will include four-player local-multiplayer support, and it doesn't care if players share one console or connect via local-wireless features. According to images in the initial article, one of those will include a new Ganondorf-themed character skin, while additional cosmetics detailed include a Cucoo pet, Echoes of the Mask wings, and a Triforce portrait banner/flag.

Diablo III on the Switch will support local co-op for up to four players and can be played in the console's docked and portable configurations.
