PS VR Pre-order for CREED: Rise to Glory Starts Today!

The company has sold over three million PlayStation VR systems worldwide, and 21.9 million games and "experiences", as relayed via the official PlayStation Blog. Set for a late September release is Creed: Rise to Glory, which lets you put on the gloves of Adonis Creed and jump into the boxing ring to go on a journey from underground amateur to champion.

The other game is called Evasion and it is a sci-fi shooter that allows players to play as one of four unique hero classes as part of a special operations team. The company's also hosting a Totally Digital Sale (ugh) on the PlayStation Store to offer 20% off some PSVR pre-orders and up to 60% off existing games.

The firm revealed that The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim VR was the most played game so far on the platform, just ahead of PlayStation VR Worlds - the introductory title containing five experiences created to acclimatise users with virtual reality. As an added bonus, an exclusive avatar and theme pack will be available to those in SCEA regions who pre-order.

As of now, the best selling PSVR game list is topped by The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim VR bundle followed by PlayStation VR Worlds, Rec Room and Resident Evil 7 Biohazard. Sure, it may not be the most advanced VR headset out there, but it is still able to deliver an exciting VR experience for PS4 players. Do you think Sony will continue to support VR when next-gen rolls around?

Statista forecasts that Sony will account for 43 percent of the VR devices shipped in 2018, with Oculus following at 19.4 percent and HTC at 12.9 percent. Sony dropped the price on PlayStation VR from $399 to $299 in March of this year, in one fell swoop dramatically undercutting both the Rift (at $499) and the Vive (at $399).
