Young Thug arrested at Dave & Buster’s for felony gun possession

New reports claim the hip-hop artist found himself in handcuffs last night (August 16) following a birthday celebration.

Less than a day after the release of his newest effort - the YSL Records compilation mixtape Slime Language - Young Thug has shared the music video "Gain Clout" off of the project.

Three other people were arrested on suspicion of "similar firearm charges", Madison said.

Video filmed outside the party - which has since been uploaded to social media - showed Thug being led away from the venue by police.

Law enforcement sources told TMZ that a member of the rapper's crew "ran into a police cruiser" as they were leaving the party, prompting the cops to conduct a vehicle search that yielded multiple weapons. TMZ reports that Thug has since been charged with felony gun possession.

Police say weapons have been recovered. He was originally being held on $35,000 bond, but judging by his latest Instagram post, it appears he's no longer in police custody.

So far no official statement has been released by Young Thug or his team. Young Thug's publicist declined to comment when Highsnobiety reached out.
