2018 Maruti Suzuki Ciaz Facelift Price Expectation In India

The new auto is an incremental update to the outgoing model with minor tweaks made to the car's interiors and exteriors.

On the design front, the new 2018 Ciaz facelift features a redesigned front bumper, slightly reworked headlamp design with projector lights and LED daytime running lights, newly designed grille and new fog lamp housing.

The 2018 Maruti Ciaz has a more elegant front-end with new high-tech lighting and design revisions.

The new Maruti Suzuki Ciaz now comes with a host of updates on the outside as well as inside along with new feature addition and a new powertrain.

The interior layout has remained unchanged. Besides updates to the instrument cluster, the revised equipment list sees ESP (Electronic Stability Program), Hill Assist and Cruise Control standard in automatic trims.

The interiors of the vehicle has been upgraded including the new premium dashboard and host of other convenient features. The diesel option continues to come in the form of the 1.3-litre DDiS four-cylinder oiler which transfers 90PS and 200Nm to the road via a 5-speed manual transmission. Reverse parking sensors are standard now.

The mid-size sedan facelift from Maruti Suzuki will take on the likes of Honda City, Hyundai Verna and Toyota Yaris. It replaces the erstwhile 1.4-litre engine and produces a healthier 105PS of power at 6,000rpm and 138Nm of torque at 4,400rpm.

Earlier version of the sedan was powered by a 1.4 litre petrol engine. Additionally, the new Ciaz gets a new petrol engine and a smart hybrid system.

The 2018 Maruti Ciaz features new Birch blonde wood grain accents with a low-gloss finish. The new Maruti Ciaz diesel carries over the old model's D13A engine and has a fuel economy rating of 28.09 km/l (unchanged). Starting at Rs. 8.19 lakh for the base Sigma petrol, it goes all the way up to Rs. 10.97 lakh (ex-showroom) for the range-topping Alpha trim.
