Apple Watch Series 4 all but confirmed in regulatory filings

Watch Series 4 model numbers spotted

The listing, spotted by Nashville Chatter, includes models A1975, A1976, A1977, A1978, A2007 and A2008.

According to a new regulatory filing, the Series 4 model list appears to be two models short from the current eight-model Series 3 lineup.

Much like the FCC in the USA, the ECC is the place where new devices being sold in Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Russian Federation stop by ahead of release.

Rumours suggest that Apple is working on new Apple Watch models with larger screens, better health sensors, and longer battery life.

But these numbers are brand new and it's interesting that there's only six model numbers when there were eight for the Watch Series 3. That's because Apple is expected to increase the display of both 38mm and 42mm versions without increasing the overall size of the watches. We can only speculate. The past two years it has also launched new Apple Watch models at its annual event. This probably means that we may be missing out on a couple of options, maybe even losing the GPS-only models.

So what can we expect from the Apple Watch Series 4?

The Eurasian filings basically confirm that Apple is planning to launch new Apple Watch models next month. It will bring walkie-talkie mode, a Siri watchface and notifications, podcasts, new exercise modes and more. We'd definitely like to see it though.
