5 ways to prevent breast cancer - Beauty and Health

The American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk will be held Sunday, October 7 at Cantigny Park in Wheaton to unite communities, honor those touched by the disease and raise awareness and funds for a world without breast cancer.

The agreement was signed in Texas with the hospital's CEO, and was a solution to the concerns the association had about breast cancer awareness.

To kick it off, Delta's Pink Plane carried more than 100 employees and eight customers on the 14th annual Breast Cancer One flight from Atlanta to Boston. Follow the official Deseret News Instagram account for more photographs and videos from the staff. "Research shows that early detection of breast cancer greatly improves survival rates, so we are eager for women to have regular mammograms." she said. Also, Black women may have inadequate medical care, including limited access to cancer screening technology.

"That can be a common misconception too: if they don't have any family history, then they may not be at risk, and that's not true".

Add more fruits and vegetables to your diet to lower the risk of breast cancer. BreastCancer.org recommends exercise, a nutritious diet and avoiding smoking and alcohol as important in the battle against breast cancer - one that many women can win regardless of race.
