Borderlands 2 Is Coming To PlayStation VR This December

Borderlands 2 VR Heading To PlayStation VR in December 2018

Borderlands 2 VR will be single-player only, so keep that in mind.

This seems to be the full game in VR, which seems an odd choice given that fast-paced first person shooters are usually hard to getting working comfortably.

There's an announcement trailer for Borderlands 2 VR attached below if you'd like to see a bit more of what the game will look like from a VR perspective. People will be able to choose between moving with the joysticks or using pointed-teleportation, as far as control schemes are concerned.

It's out on December 14, which will be the first new, or new-ish, Borderlands game since Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel in 2014. There will be first-person vehicle driving. You can navigate menus with the PlayStation Move controllers, allowing for clicking, dragging, and dropping.

Borderlands 2 originally launched on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC in September 2012. Co-op play has always been one of the biggest tenants of what makes a Borderlands game so to see it absent here is a bit odd even though it is understandable.

Borderlands 2 VR is coming to PlayStation VR on December 14, 2K and Gearbox Software have announced. Preordering the game will grant instant access to a dynamic PS4 theme featuring the game's four main vault hunters.
