Selena Gomez Hospitalized for Emotional Breakdown

After suffering from apparent mental breakdown, the singer, who underwent kidney transplant past year, is presently being treated at a mental facility.

Selena Gomez has been hospitalised twice since last two weeks.

We're told Selena was released days later but had to be re-admitted late last week because her low blood cell count persisted, and it threw Selena into a downward emotional spiral.

In 2017, Selena underwent a kidney transplant when her Lupus condition left her organs inflamed, though it seems the star is still suffering from the side-effects. Our sources say a family member drove her to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A.

Currently, Selena is receiving dialectical behavior therapy at a psychiatric facility on the East Coast.

'Kindness and encouragement only for a bit!

She took yet another self-enforced break from social media at the end of September, saying she wanted to step back and feel grateful "for the moment she'd been given".

The outlet reported that when Gomez insisted upon leaving the hospital and was refused by doctors, she had a "meltdown", sources said, trying to rip an IV out of her arm and undergoing an "emotional breakdown".

She announced the news on social media in September 2017, writing of Raisa on Instagram, "There aren't words to describe how I can possibly thank my lovely friend Francia Raisa".

Selena also battles depression and anxiety, which she revealed during Instagram Live sessions on September 21 and 22. Just remember- negative comments can hurt anybody's feelings.
