Stardew Valley is coming to iOS and Android

Stardew Valley on mobile

Stardew Valley is coming to iPhone, iPad, and Android. The mobile port is being developed by The Secret Police, rather than the teams now working on porting multiplayer into Stardew's console versions. The game is the full version we know and love, albeit with a new built-for-touch interface.

Developer ConcernedApe announced that Stardew Valley is coming to smartphones, and will begin with its iOS App Store release in a little over 2 weeks, October 24, 2018. Stardew Valley arrives on iOS on October 24 and can be pre-ordered right now. The mobile version based on the latest version 1.3 of the game, which features a new night market.

This studio is also working on completing an Android port of Stardew Valley, although there is now no release date for this version.

It's the full game, not a cut down version, and plays nearly identically to all other versions. Of course mods are not supported, but at least you can still take your farm on the go.

The developer adds that the iOS version will be available for $7.99 and won't offer in-app purchases.

A release window for Android was not provided. Unfortunately, there's no way to sync with your PC-you'll just have to copy the game's data over via iTunes. ConcernedApe also says that this mobile port has no impact on the multiplayer portion of the game that is actively being worked on for console platforms. Stardew Valley is the sort of twee indie game that makes the jump to mobile very easily, just like it's predecessor series Harvest Moon did with the 3DS.
