Woodland's 61 leaves him tied for CIMB lead with Leishman

Paul Casey is in contention at the CIMB Classic

Marc Leishman picked up his fourth PGA Tour title when he eased to a comfortable victory at the CIMB Classic in Malaysia on Sunday.

Paul Casey and Shubhankar Sharma are just a shot behind the joint-leaders following rounds of 65 and 64 respectively, while Austin Cook and Bronson Burgoon - leader after the first round - are another stroke back.

"It's nice to stay aggressive out there", Woodland said.

Marc Leishman turned what was supposed to be a shootout in the final round of the CIMB Classic into a blowout.

He had been winless in more than a year after his groundbreaking 2017, although he had been consistent, logging two second places in 2018 and reaching the 30-player Tour Championship.

An emotional Leishman, who made eight birdies, including a putt from almost 50 feet on the par-4 ninth, and a solitary bogey, said it felt "unbelievable" to win.

"Just that one bad shot on the second, but other than that I was hitting it pretty good", said the 22-year-old.

"We'll sit that [trophy] in the middle of the table tonight and have a few beers and just talk about it and just have a good night with friends really".

Leishman who finished 5th the last time he played this event in 2016 was understandably delighted with his effort to date, especially his putting in which he averaged 25 putts per round over the opening 36 holes.

Leishman will also start moving day on 14 under following a blemish-free 10-under second round. He was 6 under in his first 10 holes and ultimately fired a 7-under 65 as he cruised to a 26-under 262 total and a five-shot victory.

An emotional Chun couldn't hold back the tears after clinching her third career LPGA win and first non-major title.

"I feel unbelievable right now", Leishman said after claiming his fourth victory on the circuit, including the Arnold Palmer Invitational and the BMW Championship past year.

"I know the kids will be very happy I'm bringing home a trophy, " he told the tournament broadcaster. "But again, as always, a great experience for me going forward and I think my game is in a good state for the next two weeks", Sharma said. "Hopefully I can drive it like I did today the next two days and then keep rolling the putts in".
