Arsenal To Make Surprise Move For Liverpool Outcast

Liverpool Training Session And Press Conference

According to the Daily Mirror though, Arsenal boss Unai Emery has been alerted to Moreno's contract situation and could try to lure him to north London.

He, as per reports, is now linked to a reunion with former boss Emery who is in charge of Arsenal as he is eyeing more stability down the left-hand side of their "back four".

The Spanish left-back has fallen out of favour at Anfield and is in the final year of his contract at the club.

However, with Moreno now expressing his desire to leave, Liverpool are reportedly resigned to losing him despite having offered renewed terms to the Spaniard.

Arsenal signed Sead Kolasinac on a free transfer in 2017 from Schalke FC and at first he had looked like one of the Gunners best signings, however, the Bosnia global has picked up numerous injuries that have made him quiet at the Emirate stadium.

Alberto Moreno has made just three starts and three substitute appearances for the Merseyside club in 2018.

Emery also appears to have little faith in alternative left-back Sead Kolasinac.

Such has been Andrew Robertson's form, Moreno is yet to feature in the Premier League or Champions League so far this season, with his only action coming in the Carabao Cup. Moreno never managed to regain a regular status ever since and the arrival of Andrew Robertson made it further hard for the Spaniard to revive his career at Anfield.
