Chris Hemsworth gives hitchhiker a lift to Byron Bay - via helicopter!

Instagram chrishemsworthMore

Being the good bloke he is, Hemsworth and his mate Luke Zocchi picked up the hitchhiker and took him with them to Byron, by the way of private helicopter.

Mr Hildebrand was invited to get into a auto with Mr Hemsworth and his friend Luke Zocchi after travelling from Mexico to Brisbane, before being surprised with the sky-high trip.

Chicago native Scott Hildebrand said he had just hopped off a flight from Mexico when he thought he would try his luck hitchhiking from Brisbane Airport to the popular beach town. Accordingly, they invite Scott into the auto, before informing him that most of the trip will be via helicopter.

Once Scott is inside the vehicle, Luke can be heard saying, "We're going to Byron, that's where we live, bro".

"Little does he know we're getting a chopper", Luke told the camera.

The video then follows them as they catch the helicopter, with Chris placing the headpiece on Scott as he sits in the front passenger seat.

The video, which Hemsworth captioned: "Picked up a hitchhiker, wasn't a serial killer which we were stoked about and just happened to be a kick ass musician Scott Hildebrand" has already racked up almost two million views.

Scott spoke about the experience during an interview for E!
