But, earlier today two unidentified females also charged the singer that he had harassed them and blamed Anu Malik of sexual misbehaviour.

Recently, singer Shweta Pandit in a long Twitter post shared her ordeal.

The music composer's response comes after sources claimed that Sony TV, on which the show airs, has asked him to step down as a judge for Indian Idol 10. She had written, "I called #AnuMalik out first & stand by my statement of him being a "serial predator" along with #KailashKher". Anu Malik is yet to respond to these new allegations.

Sona Mohapatra has named Anu Malik and Kailash Kher in her #MeToo accounts. Lyricist Sameer Anjaan also defended him and tweeted that no such incident took place.

Now according to the latest developments, Malik has exclusively given out a statement to Pinkvilla saying that he is taking a break from the show.

"The allegations made against my client are emphatically denied as completely false and baseless". As per PinkVilla, Danica D'Souza, who is now in NY, has narrated the ordeal exposing dirty side of Anu Malik. Recounting her experience to Mid-Day, she said the composer unzipped his trousers and asked her to "lick" him. One of our colleagues from the production crew was travelling with a cameraman and Malik in a vehicle to get sound bites.

Shweta wrote that it had taken her a lot for her 'to open up this wound again and speak up against this pedophile and sexual predator.' She wrote, "I used to admire his music and practice his songs for hours and look upto him back then! Thank you", Malik said. "I told him no and urged him to let me go, but he pulled me by my hair and stuffed my face in his lap, hurling abuses as he did so", she said. "Yet they turned a blind eye to his ugly behaviour", said the composer.

In the rise of the #MeToo movement in India, many known personalities from different fields have been named and shamed on different social media platforms.
