Broncos Open To Demaryius Thomas Trade Offers; Teams Interested

Marshall has been losing snaps to linebacker Josey Jewell, the team's fourth-round pick in this year's draft. Thomas has crossed the 1,000-yard mark five times in his career, peaking with a 111-reception, 1619-yard season in 2014.

The Denver Broncos are 3-4 and approaching a huge road game against the Kansas City Chiefs at the midway point of the 2018 season.

Several teams have reached out to the Broncos about trading Demaryius Thomas, ESPN reported, citing an unidentified league source.

The Broncos are not opposed to parting with their top receiver.

With the October 30 trade deadline rapidly approaching, Broncos general manager and president of football operations John Elway has to make some key decisions that could drastically impact his team's short- and long-term forecast.

It will be interesting to see how serious the Broncos are about moving Thomas, but the fact that they are at least fielding offers is noteworthy.

Amari Cooper seems to be the biggest name on the trading block, as the Oakland Raiders continue to clean out star players under head coach Jon Gruden.

Thomas is now averaging over 50 receiving yards per game, and while his stats continue to fall, part of that is due to Denver's offense and quarterback situation.

Thomas, 30, has 33 receptions for 372 yards and three touchdowns through seven games for the Broncos this season.
