Borat returns to television to 'tamper' with U.S. election

On Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Borat made a decision to participate in this year's midterm elections by canvassing for Donald Trump and the GOP in Los Angeles.

"Russia interfere with the presidential election", he said. "I come to California to do election tampering.' Or 'tamponing" as he put it.

At the second house, Borat asked the man who answered the door what was wrong with being a racist, as he asserted Trump is.

The man replies: 'In my opinion the fake news people say he is a racist and I don't believe he is, I don't see any evidence of that'.

To that Borat said that there isn't a problem being a racist.

Borat first knocks on a woman's door and is stunned to find it is not against the law for her to vote. That involved talking with Trump supporters about topics like immigration, the "fake news" media, and racism.

He then laughs and offers her a high five, which she accepts, before adding: 'Cage for them is nicest place they have ever been?'

Later in the sketch, the famously anti-Semitic presenter devises a plan to stop a Jewish Democrat from reaching a polling station by blocking him strips of bacon and shouting "you shall not pass". Or 'liberal elitist Hollywood bubble globalist Jew mouthpiece, ' as the Kazakh character said.

Sacha Baron Cohen's much-loved Kazakhstani character made a welcome return to the small screen yesterday (6 November) as America went to the polls.

After debuting the character on Da Ali G Show all the way back in 2000, Cohen enjoyed "great success" with the 2006 Borat film as it made almost £200 million worldwide at the box office - but he's only brought Borat out for a handful of appearances since then.
