Nokia 9 Renders Previewed Featuring Five Camera Setup

Nokia 6.1 Plus Hide Notch Option Returns With Android 9 Pie Update Here's How to Enable

The leaked Nokia 9 renders showcase a single front-facing camera on the top and volume rockers along with the power button on the right of the display.

Apart from the new five-cameras setup in the renders, the fingerprint scanner can nowhere be seen, which suggests that the new Nokia 9 might come with an in-display fingerprint sensor, kind of similar to what we have seen in the earlier released OnePlus 6T.

The report states that they have partnered with serial tipster @OnLeaks and have gained access to 5K renders and a 360-degree video of the Nokia 9. Five of the rings are camera lenses, and the sixth is a dual-LED flash. The renders don't show any "PureView" branding on the Nokia 9's body, but it's expected that the name will be revived with the phone considering its big focus on photography.

The report goes on to add, "We can't confirm exactly what the Penta-camera lenses will consist of, but if we had to assume, we'd guess the setup includes a telephoto lens, a wide-angle lens and a depth-sensing camera, among others". Overall dimensions are allegedly 155 x 75 x 7.9 mm, which will naturally make this significantly taller, as well as slightly wider and thicker than the 5.5-inch Nokia 8 Sirocco.

Two cameras on the back of your phone not enough?

It's the first Nokia device to hit our shores to sport a notch - a design feature that has now become ubiquitous in the smartphone landscape.

Other specifications of the Nokia 9 include a 5.9-inch display boasting a QHD resolution and will have an 18:9-inch panel. On the bottom there is a USB Type-C port, a loudspeaker grill, and a primary microphone. A secondary microphone is integrated into the antenna band on the top-edge, and there's also a third microphone on the back. The leaks also indicate that the phone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, and not the upcoming Snapdragon 855 chipset, which might disappoint some users.
