'Path of Exile' Confirmed For PS4, Coming This December

The Delve league is hard enough. Now imagine it with turbo-charged monsters

Developer Grinding Gear Games' audience only further increased when it debuted on Xbox One a year ago, and now that the [possible token timed exclusivity] is up, it's coming to PS4.

Path of Exile has officially been unveiled and will be arriving on PlayStation 4 this December. On December 7, 2018, a new expansion (version 3.5.0) is coming to the game on PC.

"We designed private leagues with the needs of two groups of players in mind", reads the announcement on the Path of Exile site. Sadly, the Path of Exile team made it clear that no cross-platform play support is coming in the foreseeable future so Xbox One and PlayStation 4 gamers will play on separate servers. "Check out the PlayStation trailer below!" Announced yesterday and planned to launch some time in the next week, the most masochistic players of Grinding Gear's free-to-play hack n' slasher will soon have the option to put real money down on private leagues to share with friends, running a custom rule-set. An Xbox One version of the game was released in August 2017. This is instead of an older version of the game releasing first and being updated later on.

Next week you'll be able to pay to run private leagues in Path of Exile and add mods to make the game absurdly hard.

Developed as a continuation of Diablo II's core gameplay, Path of Exile launched on PC in 2013 after an open beta phase and lengthy development.
