Modern Family reveals pregnancy twist

Modern Family reveals pregnancy twist

Modern Family is ramping up the drama for its final season as they just impregnated Haley Dumphy.

Later, she calls Dylan and they are changing their plans to go to the circus in exchange for a more mature date at the theater.

After the episode aired, she showed off her fake baby bump.

And while she was applying her lipstick and steering her bumper auto at the same time (oh, Haley), Dylan ploughed into his girlfriend and accidentally lodged her lippy up her nostril, because of course.

According to Hyland, who stars as Claire and Phil Dunphy's daughter Haley, the storyline around the corner was set to be a "bigger thing than the death".

At first glance, it looks like the 27-year-old actress is well on her way to welcoming her first child, but closer inspection reveals it's actually a spoiler from the popular show.

We finally know what the Modern Familyplot twist "bigger than death" is.

Prior to the episode, Hyland hinted at the jaw-dropping turn of events in an Instagram post.

The twist comes after Dylan sparred with Haley's other love interest, Arvin (Chris Geere), in last week's episode, leaving it unclear who the father is.

She captioned the photo, "Buckle up for tonight's brand new episode of @abcmodernfam guys. It's gonna be a BUMPY ride!" she wrote on the caption, further boosting speculation of a pregnancy reveal.

"When did you find out the secret from the episode", asked one of her followers.
