Who Will Change the Future with the New Fantastic Beasts 2 Poster

Redmayne teases 'jaw-dropping secrets' of Fantastic Beasts sequel

Warner Bros. has released a magical featurette for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald cataloguing all the connections between the prequel spin-off and the magical adventure series that started it all.

Eddie Redmayne keeps it cool as he takes part in SiriusXM's Town Hall with the cast of Fantastic Beasts:The Crimes Of Grindelwald on Entertainment Weekly Radio at the SiriusXM Studio on Wednesday (November 6) in New York City. Stars including Jude Law, Eddie Redmayne and Zoe Kravitz are expected to attend, along with the film's screenwriter, the one and only JK Rowling.

Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling pens the planned five-film saga, to be directed by franchise veteran David Yates.

The featurette was released on the heels of a new worldwide trailer, which gives us a new glimpse of the horrors enacted by the Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald, including the shocking torture of Newt's American friend Queenie Goldstein (Alison Sudol). We certainly got that, but the reveal of Gellert Grindelwald as the Big Bad of this franchise set Fantastic Beasts on a collision course with Potter lore that only gets more explicit in the sequel Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.

Fiona Glascott, who previously starred in the movie Brooklyn, is listed as playing Minerva McGonagall in Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.

The Oscar-winning actor, 36, kept things casual in a navy bomber jacket and jeans as he discussed the film with fellow stars Callum Turner, Alison Sudol, Katherine Waterston and Dan Fogler. Lines are drawn as love and loyalty are tested, even among the truest friends and family, in an increasingly divided wizarding world.
