Sony Announces Its PS4 Black Friday Deals

Right, Black Friday isn't really a day anymore.

"From a new PS4 Bundle to sales on PS VR units and digital content at PS Store, this Black Friday delivers great value across the PlayStation portfolio", a Sony announcement notes.

This bundle isn't to be confused with the special edition PlayStation 4 Pro that launched alongside Spider-Man back in September. This jet-black 1TB standard PS4 system includes a matching DualShock 4 wireless controller, and a physical copy of the critically acclaimed Marvel's Spider-Man game from Insomniac Games. Announced with a rather festive trailer, PlayStation Black Friday Week runs from November 18-26, 2018. Those include discounts on system bundles, accessories like controllers and PlayStation VR, and a subscription to PlayStation Plus.

Select DualShock 4 wireless controllers available for $39.99 USD (MSRP) / $49.99 CAN (MSRP) at participating retailers. This is a $100 discount off the regular price. They'll also be discounts on tons of games for subscribers, including Call of Duty Black Ops 4.

Numerous retailers are discounting the most recent God of War to just $25 this year, so hopefully Sony does the same through the PlayStation Store.

The following deals are for United States and Canada only and will be available from participating retailers. The discounts will be good from November 18-26 in the U.S., or November 22-30 in Canada.

Apparently this is also just a preview of the full sale, with "more details "to be confirmed soon".
