Facebook crash sends social media users into a mild panic

It’s back Facebook experiences massive outage for roughly 15 minutes

- Facebook users around the world were reporting that the social networking site was down on Monday afternoon.

For those experiencing the outage, opening a page on the social media site revealed an error message reading, "Sorry, something went wrong".

We've received multiple reports that Facebook's products aren't working properly.

If you didn't live through it yourself, the website detector, Downdetector confirmed that "Facebook is having issues since 12:56 PM EST". A map showed the outages concentrated in the Northeast and Midwest of the United States, as well as southern Brazil.

When KAKE News reached out to the Facebook public relations department, a spokesperson responded via email, "Thanks for the inquiry".
