Voluntary recall for blood pressure medication due to cancer causing ingredient

The International Agency for Research on Cancer has identified it as a probable human carcinogen.

Losartan Potassium Hydrochlorothiazide Tablets, USP are indicated for the treatment of hypertension. FDA said they found some contamination: N-nitrosodiethylamine (NDEA) in some of these drugs and that's they have recalled them to prevent any further consumption of these contaminated drugs. It may be used alone or in combination with other antihypertensive agents.

This is the third blood pressure medication to face recall as of late. Now, if the lot carries the number JB8912, then the patient has with him or she recalled pills. They should quarantine any remain qualities and return them to the identified reverse distributor.
