Galaxy Note 9 One UI (Pie) beta has been released

The new beta brings support for Unicode 11.0 emojis, new clock styles, general UI changes to aesthetic, Samsung DeX gets dual-display support, and of most of Samsungs stock apps get a new look. The program is only available to unlocked Note 9 users - specifically, the SM-960U1 variant of the unlocked Note 9 in the US. This is the first time users of the Galaxy Note 9 will have access to a version of the software that's been live on Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus for a few weeks. If you are unsure which model you have, you can check it in Settings About Phone.

We understand that further updates to the beta One UI program will be rolling out in January 2019 to other Samsung Galaxy devices, upgrading users to the new UI layout, but also Android 9 Pie and the November 2018 (or later) security patch level. Follow the prompts and accept the terms of the program. Inside the app, there'll (hopefully) be a big notice that says they're invited to the Note 9 beta software program. The interface has been overhauled in a bid to make smartphones easier to use with one hand and help the user focus on the task at hand.

Even though the recordings were opened last week it seems that the rollout of the Android 9 Pie beta for Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is only starting today, starting again from Germany and India. Meaning at some point Samsung will stop the registration process, preventing new users from joining. Let us know what you think of it in the comments!
