Bethesda's website briefly revealed customer support tickets and personal information

Bethesda Security Leak Lets Players View Private Information From Fallout 76 Support Tickets

As you might imagine, players will not be able to log into or play Fallout 76 during downtime.

Over the last week, Bethesda has been mired in uproar over a bag.

According to Kotaku, consumers that have filled out replacement canvas bag orders for their Fallout 76 Power Armor packages have noticed an interesting glitch - being able to access Bethesda's support system. In an attempt to make that right, Bethesda is now going to send folks a proper canvas bag - presumably like the ones originally advertised - as a replacement for the plastic junk. "I am receiving every single one of your support tickets on my Bethesda account", said Jessiepie. Instead, the issue comes from the game's equally troubled $200 Power Armor edition: buyers of the Power Armor edition who went to Bethesda's site to resolve the issue were seeing their personally identifying data (PID) leaked to everybody else who was trying to resolve the issue.

"We're planning to bring Fallout 76 offline for maintenance across all platforms around 6:30 p.m. EST (23:30 UTC) to apply a hotfix that will address a service issue".

Other Reddit users added their own allegations of the same issue, with one public screenshot showing multiple, confused replies to the same support-ticket thread.

The information leaked reportedly included names, email addresses and other contact details. That receipt could potentially include information like a credit card number.

Just as Bethesda seemingly gains control of its Fallout 76 collector's edition fiasco, it seems as though the company has struggled to keep a lid on customer information. We plan to notify customers who have been impacted.
