Unseen Photos: Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas Release Photos With 'Hello! Canada'

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas

It's not even in my stratosphere.

Priyanka Chopra has responded to the contentious The Cut article that accused her of tricking husband Nick Jonas into marriage.

The earlier version of the article read, "Priyanka: She is a modern-day scam artist, in my opinion".

The website, a part of NY magazine, deleted the article the next morning with an apology.

The Cut, owned by New York Magazine, took a swing at Priyanka Chopra and questioned her romantic relationship with singer Nick Jonas, having called the Indian actress a "global scam artist". After a joyful mehendi and a spectacular sangeet, the two were Wednesday in two consecutive ceremonies, one according to Christian traditions and the other honouring Hindu traditions.

Joe Jonas and fiancée, Sophie Turner, fired back after their new sister-in-law, Priyanka Chopra, dealt with accusations of being a scam artist. What Nick & Pri have is Beautiful Love.

Nick and Priyanka got married in a fairytale wedding at Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jodhpur. "These kind of random things can't disturb it", she said.

"This is wildly inappropriate and totally disgusting", she wrote. "Very disappointed that The Cut would give anyone a platform to spew such bullshit". In one photo, we witness the nervous Priyanka while in the other, we see both Priyanka and Nick indulging in fun and laughter while exchanging the garlands. Sonam K Ahuja also stood up against the nasty words written in the article and tweeted, "For a publication that "shows women's what they are made of" @TheCut has a lot to answer for. We've removed it and apologise". The article on @priyankachopra was sexist, racist and disgusting.
