Fortnite players get glider as apology over event end date error

Each player is represented by circles, with a range of weaponry and useful items strewn across the map.

Players were originally under the impression that they could complete the challenges until the event's end date, however, the event ended abruptly on January 1.

We communicated an incorrect end date for the 14 Days of Fortnite event and didn't feel the Equalizer Glider compensation was the right approach. The tweet read, "We apologize for communicating the wrong end date for 14 Days of Fortnite on social channels". The company had indicated that players would have time after all 14 days of challenges were offered to complete them all. Epic hasn't revealed just when players will get this reward, but it'll be some time in the near future. Thus, the company made a decision to bring back the event next week. But, as pointed out on Reddit, Epic Games had posted the following on social media: "Once all 14 days' worth of challenges have been unlocked, there will still be a few days to complete them before they go away (IIRC they expire on either the 3 or 4 of January)". We've chose to bring back this event next week through January 15 at 3 AM ET (0800 UTC).

In addition to the challenges making a comeback, some of the Limited Time Modes that were also available will be coming back as well. Players could play during the entire duration of the event.

We're now talking about 14 Days of Fortnite event rewards as part of Season 7.

FortniteINTEL has guides on how to complete all 14 challenges below! Whether you're a fan of the battle royale game or not, you've got to admit - they've continuously proven they are about their players.

Some players have complained about this miscommunication, hoping Epic would restore the challenges for a couple more days.
