Motorola RAZR is making a comeback, cue the nostalgia

Early in 2018 we reported on how Lenovo's CEO had hinted to TechRadar that there would be a Motorola Razr reboot, and now we have our first details on what the phone will look like. In a world of plastic clamshell and candy bar-style phones, the Razr introduced style, slim designed, and revolutionized the mobile world.

The Motorola RAZR was really popular back in its days. With pricing set at $1,500 and the phone being a Verizon exclusive, this might still be a little optimistic.

It won't be easy to get your hands on one of these nostalgic designs either - only about 200,000 units of the new and improved Razr are going to be made. WSJ also says Lenovo is partnering with Verizon to offer the device exclusively in the US. Now Motorola (technically Lenovo) is bringing back the RaAZR but in a different way.

Motorola is planning to revive it's Razr brand which once sat on the throne for one of the most iconic and stylish phones in the market.

This webinar, presented by Radisys and Strategy Analytics, will assess the current market landscape and reveal some key strategies for service providers and system integrators to help reduce costs, enhance accuracy, generate new revenue systems, and cost-effectively scale your speech processing services. Its ultra-thin design allowed the device to be marketed as an ultra high-end phone.

Previously, Motorola was able to sell more than 130 million of its cutting edge series that debuted in 2004 and continued on through 2007 when touchscreens became a standout feature.

That's likely why Motorola is incorporating newer technology into the yet-to-be-released Razr, such as a folding screen.

Foldable displays aren't a new concept, with electronics company Royole unveiling the world's first flexible display device in November, 2019.
