Tokyo Disney Resort getting Kingdom Hearts III-themed hotel rooms

The Disney Ambassador Hotel, one of the many resorts on-property, will be getting an exclusive Kingdom Hearts makeover.

All we know about it is that it's a special video specifically created for the countdown to Kingdom Hearts III0s massively anticipated release. They'll set you back about ¥46,100 (about $589 AUD).

Some of these special themed elements found in each room include game-themed headboards on the beds, a TV stand with a number of frames featuring art from the Kingdom Hearts games series, and a special key to the room created to look just like Sora's Keyblade!

Rather than just any old piece of metal or plastic, guests staying the Kingdom Hearts room unlock their quarters by using a Keyblade, the traditional weapon of the game's heroic swordsmen. Measuring 18 centimeters (7.1 inches) in length, it's too big to fit into a standard key hole, but placing it near the door handle will cause it to unlock the door through pure magic (don't believe heartless rumors that it's an RF signal that makes it work). A few select rooms will be covered head-to-toe in Kingdom Hearts decor beginning in March 2019. All visitors will also get some Kingdom Hearts postcards to commemorate your stay, as well. It's truly any Kingdom Hearts fans dream come true. However, I was told that they will have multiple rooms ready for guests. Reservations open for booking on January 30 at 14:00 (Japan time). Each room will receive four postcards total, two in both available designs.
