Jay Z Hires 21 Savage A Lawyer

Rapper 21 Savage performs onstage during day one of the Rolling Loud Festival at Banc of California Stadium on Dec. 14 2018 in Los Angeles California

Atlanta rapper 21 Savage, who is now facing deportation to his native United Kingdom, was driving in a reckless manner and had a loaded handgun in the glove compartment at the time of his arrest last weekend, it emerged today.

American Hip-hop mogul, Jay-Z has reacted to 21 Savage's arrest by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Notably, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), who are now holding Savage, were reportedly also on the scene, but are not listed in the police reports. And now, Jay Z just made a very generous offer. Jigga released a statement on the matter as well.

21 Savage is going on the record for the first time, through his reps, and revealing the timeline of his global travels, claiming he has actually been in the United States since the age of 7. They allege that he has been living in the country illegally since overstaying his visa as a child.

According to Variety Jay-Z has enlisted his lawyer, Alex Spiro, to help assist in the rapper's case.

H-4 visas are granted to the children of immigrants who hold H-1B visas, which are given to foreign workers in specialty occupations.

He said in a statement: "In addition to being a successful recording artist, 21 deserves to be reunited with his children immediately, #Free21Savage".

"Mr. Abraham-Joseph has no criminal convictions or charges under state or federal law and is free to seek relief from removal in immigration court".

On top of that, according to Variety, if Savage isn't freed by this year's Grammy Awards on February 10, there will be an immigration tribute done in his honor during the broadcast.

The rapper has applied for a U-visa, which is pending with the US Citizenship and Immigration Services, Kuck said.

Immigration cases often take a while to get sorted out. However, a source at ATF claims ICE was there, but is not listed on the report.

The application was filed in 2017, four years after he was reportedly shot six times during an incident in which his friend died.
