Fabinho tells Liverpool team-mates 'joy' will be key to title success

Klopp What Liverpool Should Do To Get More Out Of Mane

As Honigstein notes, Klopp and his backroom staff are committed to Liverpool until the end of the 2021/22 campaign, and this has been followed by the majority of his key players.

Before Klopp took over at Borussia Dortmund in 2008, he was on the radar of Bayern, who instead opted for Jurgen Klinsmann-but speculation over a future move to the Allianz Arena has continued for the 51-year-old.

Liverpool defender Joel Matip is happy to give manager Jurgen Klopp a headache. "I think that he will renew his contract beyond 2022", he said.

"If he is to become champion or Champions League victor, he will 99.9 percent stay longer".

"Bayern would have liked Klopp, even in the aftermath and probably still today, he added".

"He is flexible and ambitious enough to think about this opportunity, if there is another opportunity".

"[If Klopp extends his deal], that does not mean that he will never go to Bayern".

It's so hard to get somebody that's going to improve your team unless you're unhappy with one of the players in your team and you go to replace them with a world class player but Liverpool have got a great front three so if they're going to buy then you'd think it'd be one of the options I've just mentioned.

Gundogan is aware of the difficulties opponents face at Anfield while playing against Liverpool and admitted that a team could go easily concede a lot of goals due to the momentum the home side can generate on Merseyside.

"As long as we all enjoy the ride here, and I mean all - from the owners, the players to the supporters, to everyone around the club - we can try it and try it, but at the moment if one of those groups isn't happy any more, then we shouldn't stretch it and say "come on, try to do it".

"I think our job is to win games, the club has said there is a process but he has given us the tools and all we can do is to go out there and play".
