Here’s the LG G8 ThinQ in all its leaked glory

It's not like we didn't know what LG's next flagship smartphone will look like, because we saw the G8 ThinQ in photos in the past few weeks. There's a wide notch at the top of the screen similar to the one on the G7 ThinQ, an audio jack and a sizeable bottom chin.

With the exception of the horizontal dual camera arrangement and the 3D camera, it looks like this render shares the G7's DNA in the looks department. The prolific tipster tweeted the images of the upcoming smartphone and captioned it "LG G8 ThinQ", eliminating any doubts regarding the identity of the smartphone. These cameras are aligned horizontally but it was placed vertically on the G7 ThinQ that is the most visible difference that we can see. Not much has been revealed about the LG G8 ThinQ camera and battery specs, but initial leaks have it that the device will get significant camera upgrade, with only a slight battery bump.

The leaked design seems identical to images of a gray version of the G8 ThinQ leaked previously, showing features like the dual-lens camera and fingerprint sensor on the rear, and a large notch housing the front camera. The screen is slightly curved at the edges, but this isn't similar to Samsung's Edge, and the side bezels are noticeable too.

As per previous leaks, the LG G8 ThinQ will come with a 6.1-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. There are bound to be different storage variant with at least 6GB RAM and 128GB of expandable storage.

Along the sides, everything is where you'd expect, including the button to launch Google Assistant on the right.
