Trump spent $50K on golf simulator for White House

President Trump recently had a room-sized "golf simulator" game installed at the White House - a gizmo that will let him play virtual rounds at courses spanning the globe by hitting a ball into a large video screen, The Washington Post reported.

Except, this wasn't much of a story at all. According to the Post, "the system replaced an older, less sophisticated golf simulator that had been installed under President Obama". He notably chastised his predecessor on Twitter in 2014, writing, "Can you believe that, with all of the problems and difficulties facing the U.S., President Obama spent the day playing golf". Bush gave up the game shortly into his presidency, which obviously meant nothing to the Left.

In his first two years in office, Trump easily surpassed Obama's golf outings over the same time period.

President Theodore Roosevelt had the White House renovated to update the lighting from gas to electric.

According to a White House official, that's exactly the situation Trump finds himself in.

President Franklin Delano Roosevelt had an indoor swimming pool installed. Bill Clinton moved putting green to its current location and had it designed by golf course architect Robert Trent Jones Jr, according to the White House Museum.
