The Trailer For Mötley Crüe's Biopic 'The Dirt' Is Here To Kickstart Yr Heart

Netflix has debuted the first official trailer for a new rock movie titled The Dirt, telling the true story of the totally insane rock band Mötley Crüe, made by Jackass: The Movie director Jeff Tremaine (so you can expect it will get real wild). Soon after, the band's name is in lights in front of packed arenas. Everybody can relax. We're soon gonna smack you upside the head with some killer new tracks.

'We got a runaway, a kid drummer, an old man, a cover band singer, ' says a voice over top as each band member is shown. Tony Cavalero is also set to appear as Ozzy Osbourne in the film.

Telling the saga of the 1980s United States heavy metal band, the film takes its inspiration from a book the group released in 2011 called The Dirt: Confessions of the World's Most Notorious Rock Band.

Their manager explains later on: 'I managed the Scorpions, Bon Jovi, Skid Row, Kiss, but I have never been through what Motley Crue put me through'.

Wild stuff. The Dirt was written and directed by Jeff Tremaine (best known for his work on Jackass), Rich Wilkes, and Amanda Adelson.

According to Netflix, "The Dirt is an unflinching and uncensored story about sex, drugs, rock 'n roll, fame, and the high price of excess". But expect the film to kick-start lots of conversation when it debuts March 22.
