" "2019 iPad 10.2" and non-Pro 10.5" tablets tipped to launch separately

The short clip ends with the famous Apple logo and the words "It's show time". The invitation included the teaser line: "It's show time", hinting at the news. We'll have wait to see whether countries outside of the USA will get the full suite of shows - new content launches tend to get a bit complicated when it comes to worldwide rights.

If Netflix and Amazon were not enough for you, Apple is set to join the league of video streaming services.

Apple finally started sending invites to the press on Monday to the company's spring event, which usually takes place at the end of March.

Cupertino giant Apple has officially sent out invites for an event on March 25th at the company's new Steve Jobs theater in Cupertino, California.

Apple's tagline was also used in 2006 to launch its Apple TV service and movies on iTunes.

While we don't know precisely how Apple's streaming service will look until that March 25th showcase, it's very likely to get its hooks into almost all of the company's media-consuming hardware, from iPhone to Apple TV. Sources familiar with the matter earlier told Reuters that the service may resell subscriptions from CBS Corp., Viacom Inc. and Lions Gate Entertainment Corp.'s Starz among others, as well as Apple's own original content.

Apple's services event could also include some new hardware, with the company possibly launching the new AirPods and its much-awaited AirPower wireless charger.

The event will be live streamed on the 25th of March, and we will be covering it live as per usual.
