Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has announced his next film on his birthday today on 14th March. Now as "Forrest Gump" is already a flawless piece of art, it's beyond me why Aamir Khan has chose to remake it. Aamir Khan Productions will co-produce Lal Singh Chaddha along with film studio Viacom18 Motion Pictures. The film will be directed by his manager-turned-director Advait Chandan, who made his directorial debut with Secret Superstar. He then interacted with the members of the media where he revealed the details about his next project.

Madhuri Dixit Nene and Aamir Khan have starred in a handful of movies together but their film Dil was one of the biggest Bollywood hits in the early 90s. When asked if he will promote Bharatiya Janta Party, he said, "No, I don't promote any political party". Paramount licensed the rights. I am playing the lead role of Lal Singh. The actor said, "We have started the prep work on the film". The shoot will start from in October.

Aamir mentioned to the media that he will be giving himself 6 months of prep time before actually going ahead with the shooting of Laal Singh Chaddha.

Khan, who last appeared in box office flop "Thugs of Hindostan", said he would lose 20 kilograms (45 pounds) for the role. I will have a slim and lean look for it. The movie will be shot in Northern areas of the country like Punjab and Himachal.
