New Avengers: Endgame Trailer Features Captain Marvel, New Suits

Marvel's new trailer starts much like the first, with Stark (portrayed by Robert Downey Jr.) recording his message to Potts with grim finality. "I fought my way out of that cave". Half the universe got eliminated with the snap of a finger and we've been left grasping at straws to consider how the heck our heroes are going to get out of this.

Chris Evans suits up - one last time? Became Iron Man. Realized I loved you.

Just over a month removed from Avengers: Endgame, Marvel Studios have dropped a new, surprise trailer for what's nearly certainly going to be the biggest film of the year. Rocket Raccoon (voiced by Bradley Cooper) and Nebula (Karen Gillan), from the "Guardians of the Galaxy" films, also make an appearance.

This new trailer is the second official trailer we've received for the film that will continue the catastrophic events that occurred in Avengers: Infinity war and the first that features Captain Marvel, whose origin film released last week to very positive reviews. Unfortunately for plans of Big Purp aka The Almighty Thanos, the "Mad Titan" is sitting this one out. This not only confirms the Quantum Realm theory, but also retroactively corroborates the scores of leaked images of promotional art and toys that have been circulated online. The way the name finds itself inserted into the trailer, it seems like a pretty obvious candidate for a Marvel Easter egg, but it's not one that anyone is really familiar with. It remains to be seen if the Captain Marvel post-credits scene will be included in Endgame or if we'll pick up with Carol already having been introduced.

Infinity War directors Anthony and Joe Russo, and screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely return for the new installment.
