Amal Clooney Looks Like an Actual Superhero in This White Cape Dress

The darling couple attends Prince Charles' star-studded dinner at Buckingham Palace on March 12.

Britain's Queen Elizabeth held the reception at Buckingham Palace to mark the 50th anniversary of the investiture of her oldest son Charles as Prince of Wales, Reuters reported. Amal was wearing a floor length white Grecian gown, from Jean-Louis Scherrer's Spring 2007 Couture collection, for the occasion which showed off her slim physique. She accessorized with a reflective box clutch and diamond earrings.

Joining her dapper husband, who looked smart in a tuxedo, Amal shared an animated conversation with HRH Prince Charles.

Chiwetel Ejiofor, Luke Evans, Tamsin Egerton, Josh Hartnett and Benedict Cumberbatch - some of whom are ambassadors for the Prince's Trust International - were also on hand to add a bit of star power to the already glittering evening.

Amal and George are of course well affiliated with the royals, with the lawyer a close friend of the Duchess of Sussex.

The Clooneys have the ultimate trump card, however, due to their close friendship with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, whose baby shower Amal attended in NY in February.

The Clooneys are close with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who were not in attendance; Amal was even at Meghan's NYC baby shower last month.

Amal and George have been friendly with the royals since moving to the United Kingdom permanently in 2014, where Amal practices law.

The heavily pregnant Duchess is said to have flown roundtrip on the Clooneys private jet for her lavish five day baby shower in NY last month. Other A-list guests included Serena Williams, who co-hosted the soirée, Gayle King, former Suits co-star Abigail Spencer, and more.
