Cameron Wake intends to sign 3-year, $23M deal with Titans

Perkins Cam Wake departs as one of Dolphins’ all-time greats despite team’s struggles

Wake is a five-time Pro-Bowler and his 98 sacks rank second on the Dolphins all-time list behind Jason Taylor.

After spending his entire 10-year career with the Miami Dolphins, defensive end Cameron Wake is set to join the Tennessee Titans, according to Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network.

With Andre Branch already being let go and with it being very likely Robert Quinn will be released by Friday the Dolphins now are extremely thin at the defensive end position heading into 2019.

In 2018, however, Wake was limited to six sacks - the lowest total since his rookie season.

The 37-year-old Wake will play in his 11th season in the National Football League after spending the first 10 with the Miami Dolphins. He'll like be the right outside linebacker for the Titans to replace Brian Orakpo, who retired from the NFL.

The Tennessee Titans and general manager Jon Robinson have made moves to bring an upgrade to both sides of the ball in 2019. They signed Roger Saffold to a four-year $44 million contract today and also added wide receiver Adam Humphries from the Buccaneers.
