Ole Gunnar Solskjaer heartened by Man United display against Arsenal despite defeat

Romeulu Lukaku was complaining of a sore foot during the week

'Phil Jones is back, there have been so many players out. Jesse, Ander, they've been training.

According to Daily Mail, Lukaku will join the trio of Alexis Sanchez, Jesse Lingard and Juan Mata, who have previously been ruled out of the trip to Molineux on Saturday night. Solskjaer confirmed that Lukaku has a foot injury at the moment, but his comments suggest the injury might not be as bad as first feared. "Obviously we've got a decision to make as to who is match fit".

The Manchester United interim manager suffered his first Premier League defeat last weekend after the Red Devils lost 2-0 to their top-four rivals Arsenal.

Of tomorrow's huge game he added: "We can feel in the city what's going on, everybody is expecting a big game, some of them say it's one of the most important games in the previous year".

"We weren't s--!" he said.

'We've played so much worse and won games and that's the unusual thing when you're a manager; you can look behind the result and say that was a good performance but didn't get what we deserved.

"He's coming back on Sunday", Solskjaer said of Sanchez.

"Sometimes you can say that was a bad performance but we won, then you are happy". We weren't, we played well.

'He (Lukkau) has had a sore foot this week and he's being assessed, so hopefully he'll get through today, ' said Solskjaer.

Meanwhile, Solskjaer has also offered support to Paul Scholes, who resigned as Oldham manager after just 31 days on Thursday by extending an invite to his former United teammate to visit Carrington.

Solskjaer overlooked a question relating to a recent report that Sanchez could move on and was hardly wholehearted when asked if United would one day see the best of him. You can never be 100 per cent sure but Alexis is such a determined lad, he loves football and is doing everything he can to get back and show his best side'.
