Simpsons Boss Reckons Michael Jackson Used His Famous Cameo To "Groom Boys"

Speaking to The Daily Beast, 58-year-old Jean shared his thoughts on the episode, which, in the wake of documentary Leaving Neverland, has been pulled from syndication, The Simpsons on demand service and future DVD releases.

Radio stations in Australia and Canada have blacklisted Jackson's songs and The Simpsons' creators have pulled an episode in which the star made a cameo.

Now, in a recent interview with The Daily Beast, showrunner Al Jean has opened up about the decision to remove the episode, as well as revealing a dark theory that Jackson used his episode to "groom boys".

Jean also said that "Stark Raving Dad" has a "false purpose" in retrospect: Jackson used it "to groom boys". "It's from the heart, on our part, and I think Jim [Brooks] put it really well. And that makes me very, very sad".

"It wasn't just a comedy to him, it was something that was used as a tool", he continued. "I don't believe in going through and making judgments on every guest star and saying 'this one was bad, that one was bad, ' but the episode itself has a false objective, and that's what I object to about it now". I'm just tryna get everyone to chill out and go with the flow, be mellow and think about the bigger picture. that's me.

"I lose a little bit of money financially, it's not something that's great personally to lose one of the most successful things I ever did, but I totally think it's the right move. I don't believe in going through and making judgments on every guest star and saying 'this one was bad, that one was bad, ' but the episode itself has a false objective, and that's what I object to about it now".

"Stark Raving Dad" aired on 19 September 1991 and featured Jackson voicing a character called Leon Kompowsky, a mental institution patient who claimed to be the singer himself.

Two months after showing an autumn/winter 2019 collection inspired by Michael Jackson, the French fashion house Louis Vuitton has said it will no longer produce any of the pieces that directly reference the performer after allegations of child sexual abuse in the HBO documentary, Leaving Neverland.

Denise, whose son James Bulger was killed by Jon Venables and Robert Thompson, took to Twitter to rant about the controversial Channel 4 documentary in which Wade Robson and James Safechuck allege they were abused by Michael.

A fan suggested she was being hounded because people wanted to hear her views on Leaving Neverland.
