Huawei Caught Using Stock Images to Promote Upcoming Smartphone's Camera - Again

Huawei patents phone with square second screen zoom lens camera

Huawei has today officially launched its newest wearable, Huawei Watch GT, at an event in New Delhi, India. Guess we'll have to wait for the Huawei P30 Series official launch in Malaysia on 26 March 2019!

As the reveal of Huawei's latest flagship smartphone nears more and more details about the device start to surface. In fact, Huawei's patent might have taken some inspiration from the odd Meizu PRO 7 from 2017.

Huawei P30 Pro has been heavily rumoured to build upon the solid foundation the P20 Pro laid by presenting Android fans with a host of notable upgrades. And while the non-pro variant gets a 3.5mm headphone jack at the bottom, the same has been expunged from the P30 Pro for a SIM and nanoSD card tray, though the USB Type-C port and a microphone remain visible.

Meanwhile, a third Huawei device has also found mention which is believed to be the P30 Lite model. However, it was revealed that the firm was using old images from Flickr to tease the feature.

Huawei Busted for Faking Smartphone Photos Yet Again

The Huawei P30 will reportedly come in 6GB RAM + 128GB storage bundle, while the Huawei P30 Pro is said to come in 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, and 8GB RAM + 512GB storage bundles.

"Powered by the world's first onboard AI Kirin 980 processor and dedicated NPU, ViLTE will enrich the overall calling and video experience of the HUAWEI Mate20 Pro users", the company added.

Huawei made a splash in February with its foldable Mate X phone. However, if you prefer more internal storage straight out of the box, 256GB and 512GB models of the Huawei P30 Pro are now expected. The 10X zoom option is undeniably quite interesting given how manufacturers opt for a wide angle and telephoto lens over an optical zoom one but this could be the next big thing in terms of smartphone camera trends. The sensors will be aligned vertically accompanied by a dual-LED flash module.

In August 2018, it posted a 30-second ad on Instagram featuring a couple taking selfies, presumably with a Nova 3 but the photos were actually taken with a DSLR camera. Huawei has not had the best reactions for the promotions of its new devices.
