Australian PM slams disgusting remarks by Senator

Canberra to Censure Racist Senator for ‘Appalling’ Christchurch Remarks

"However, while this kind of violent vigilantism can never be justified, what it highlights is the growing fear within our community, both in Australia and New Zealand, of the increasing Muslim presence".

Australian Brenton Harrison Tarrant, 28, a suspected white supremacist, was charged with murder on Saturday after 49 people were killed and dozens wounded in mass shootings at two New Zealand mosques.

Anning has received widespread condemnation following comments he made that saying cause of New Zealand's worst peace time shooting was letting "Muslim fanatics" migrate to the country.

Australian Labor party leader Bill Shorten called Anning a "fool".

While he was giving a press conference there, a 17-year-old boy who had sneaked into the event cracked an egg on Anning's head as a form of political protest.

The horrific footage shows a man holding the teen's legs in the air dragging him across the floor while another bystander is seen kicking the boy in the back.

Other men, apparently the senator's supporters or bodyguards, grappled the youth to the ground and held him in a headlock.

An Australian teenager smashed an egg in the head of a far-right senator who blamed Muslims for violence.

Victoria police arrested the teen, who was not named by local media.

American actress Chelsea Peretti tweeted: "why did egg boy vid make me cry".

"You don't get your message out by coming up and crunching an egg on someone - it's just stupid", he said.

Mr Morrison said on Sunday that Anning should be punished for his alleged assault of the teen.

Senator Anning came to the Senate in late 2017 as a replacement for One Nation's Malcolm Roberts after he was found to have been a dual citizen and therefore ineligible for election.

"I was one of more than 30 recipients of the manifesto that was mailed out in nine minutes before the attack took place", Ms Ardern said. "In no way does he represent our Australian friends". Friday's shootings are the worst act of violence in New Zealand in three decades, Ardern said.

He had said that the migrants should embrace Australian values and English language and that cultural diversity erodes social cohesion.

An online petition calling for Senator Anning to be removed from Parliament had garnered more than 850,000 signatures.

You know that totally dubious independent senator, Fraser Anning? "We request that he be expelled from his position as Senator, and investigated by law enforcement agencies for supporting right wing terrorism".
