Meghan Markle and Prince Harry confirm secret birth of royal baby

On Thursday, the couple announced they'll be keeping the royal baby birth plan under wraps and there won't be a photo op on the steps of the hospital like the actress' in-law has done with each of her three kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are making it very clear they're going to be welcoming their baby in a much more private manner than Kate Middleton and Prince William have.

Harry and Meghan recently moved into their new home of Frogmore Cottage in Windsor - just in time for baby.

They are expecting their first child in late April or early May.

While there is global interest in Harry and Meghan, their child will only be seventh in line to the throne. The public display of affection notwithstanding, it looks like there could be trouble brewing between the Queen and the Duchess.

The regal Oprah Winfrey is showing her support for the Duchess of Sussex.

The couple, who Wednesday in May at Windsor Castle, recently moved from central London to a more secluded house near their wedding venue.

Harry and Meghan attended the 50th anniversary of Prince Charles's investiture on March 5.

But a photocall, with a small group of media, is being planned for a few days after the birth so a picture of Harry and Meghan, with their son or daughter, will be available. In addition to the convenience the closer hospital provides, it will also allow for more privacy and let both mom and baby recover with less intrusion.

Winfrey herself was one of a number of big-name stars who were guests of honor at last year's Royal Wedding, and considers the royal couple friends.

Harry also appeared emotional as he received another baby gift from Georgina Hart, 18, who told him his Invictus Games had inspired her to aim for the Paralympics. And do you have any name ideas for the royal arrival?

Fans can be rest assured that they will receive Baby Sussex images at some point, just not right after the royal baby is born.
